DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:Collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of wastewater of settlements Mavrommati and Leontari – Thespies of Aliartos Municipality.
The total length of the collection and transfer network system of the three villages under study is about 33.70 km.
The WWTP was designed to serve the population of settlements Mavrommati and Thespies – Leontari for 20 years (6000) and 40 years (10.800).
The biological treatment method proposed, is the extended aeration activated sludge system with simultaneous biological removal of nitrogen and phosphorous and complete stabilization of sludge.
The outflow of the WWTP is directed to Askri River.
